Matutum Growers Operation Celebrates Philippine Environment Day

On June 3, 2023, Dole Philippines Inc. – Matutum Growers Operation spearheaded a Clean-Up Drive and Community Consultation on Environmental Management System (EMS) in partnership with the Philippine Navy – General Santos City, Purok 9 Officials and the Barangay Local Officials of Barangay Sulit, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

The event was initiated not only to commemorate the Presidential Proclamation No. 237 which declares the observation of Philippine Environment Day every Month of June following the celebration of the World’s Environment Day which falls every 5th of the month of June through the Pres. Proclamation NO. 1149 but also to proactively raise awareness for Envi-preservation and protection. More than fifty (50) households including their respective members joined the program.
